Scope of the project:

  • Providing dignified solutions to vulnerable refugees, IDPs and returnees
  • Number of 112 families accommodated in 68 housing units (SHSE) and 44 families in Prefabricated houses (PFHs)
  • Closure of Collective Centres

Main results to be achieved:

Result 1: Individual Housing Solutions provided to vulnerable refugees, IDPs and returnees moving out from CCs by supply of Prefabricated houses (PFHs)
Result 2: Enhanced living conditions ensured to extremely vulnerable refugees, IDPs, returnees moving out from CCs by provision of apartment units in Socially protected environment (SHSE)

*Although not mentioned in the Results “domicile vulnerable families” (app 20% of 122) will be assisted under this project

Name of the project: Support to the improvement of living conditions of forced migrants and closure of collective centres
Scope of the project:

  • Facilitation the integration of forced migrants who choose to stay in in Serbia through provision of adequate living conditions
  • Number of 122 families accommodated in 61 housing units (SHSE) and 61 families in Prefabricated houses (PFHs)

Main results to be achieved:

Result 1: Individual Housing Solutions provided to vulnerable refugees, IDPs and returnees moving out from CCs by supply of Prefabricated houses (PFHs)

Name of the project: Support to the closure of Collective Centers through improvement of the living conditions of IDPs, refugees and returnees
Scope of the project:

  • Contribution to the improvement of the living conditions and social inclusion of forced migrants in Serbia with the special attention given to the most vulnerable residing in CCs
  • Number of 96 families accommodated in 60 housing units (SHSE) and 36 families in Prefabricated houses (PFHs)
  • Closure of Collective Centres

Main results to be achieved:

Result 1: Process of closure at least 4 CCs in Serbia is facilitated through provided housing solutions to tenants of the CCs
Result 2:  At least 60 vulnerable IDPs, refugee and returnee families residing in CCs and vulnerable local families are able to integrate in the Serban sicety by being provided with a 60 housing units within social housing  in supportive environment (SHSE)
Result 3: At least 36 IDPs, refugee, returnee families residing in CCs and vulnerable local families are able to integrate in the Serbian society by being provided ownership of the 36 Prefabricated Houses (PFHs)

Name of the project: Support to closure of Collective Centers in srbia and provision of the adequate livng conditions to extremely vulnerable IDPs and refugees
Scope of the project:

  • Assistant to the government of Serbia  in sound implementation of its strategies by provoding adequate living conditions to refugees from Croatia and BiH  and internally displaced persons (IDPs) from  Kosovo
  • Number of 103 families accommodated in 95 housing units (SHSE) and 8 families in Prefabricated houses (PFHs)
  • Closure of Collective Centres

Main results to be achieved:

Result 1: Provision of 95 units within  Social Housing in Supportive environment – (SHSE) component
Result 2: Provision of 8 units within Prefabricated houses – (PFHs) component

LOT 2

Sustainable return encouragement and facilitation, planning and implementing an outreach campaign, as well as supporting returnees’ relocation, administrative issues and delivering of assistance kits to returnees, thus supporting the return of 220 IDP families to Kosovo, upon their wish;

Name of the project: Support to sustainable return and reintegration of IDPs to Kosovo
Scope of the project: The specific objectives are: a) to support sustainable return of IDPs to Kosovo and b) to support sustainable reintegration of IDPs and strengthening of their communities in Kosovo.

Main results to be achieved:

  1. Increased awareness on potential to return achieved within the IDP population in Serbia through conducted outreach campaign activities;
  2. At least 110 families realised sustainable return through provided Return Assistance Activities;
  3. Between 7-10 Returnee Communities in Kosovo strengthened their socio-economic stability through provided Returnee Community Business Start-up Support;
  4. Increased coordination on IDP return-related issues through dissemination of best practices, lessons learnt and synergies made available to, and used by other stakeholders;

Name of the project: Enhancing IDPs Return and Reintegration opportunities
Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to facilitate the displaced persons pursuing and achieving a sustainable return to Kosovo as well as enhancing the reintegration process of returnee communities

Main results to be achieved:

  1. Information/outreach campaign implemented providing reliable and updated information to IDPs on the return process and available support;
  2. 110 IDP families facilitated to return to Kosovo by provision of needed return and reintegration assistance
  3. Access to livelihood opportunities enhanced for returnee communities (up to 13)


Stage of implementation: Awareness campaign and identification of potential beneficiaries is ongoing.

Creation of the conditions for the integration of refugees, the improvement of the living conditions of IDPs while they are in displacement, and the reintegration of returnees based on the readmission agreements.

Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to resolve housing issues and provide support to the economic activities for 20 families of the refugees and internally displaced persons in the Municipality of Arilje.

Main results to be achieved:

  • Resolved housing issues for 10 families of the refugees and internally displaced persons in the Municipality of Arilje;
  • Provided support for economic activities and increasing income for 10 families from the refugees and internally displaced persons in the Municipality of Arilje;
  • Efficiently promoted project and EU support in resolving problems of the refugees and internally displaced persons.

Name of the project: Integration of refugees and IDPs in the Municipality of Batočina
Scope of the project: The specific objectives of the Action are: a) Improving the living conditions of IDPs and refugees; b) Economic empowerment of refugee and IDP families.

Main results to be achieved:

  • 15 refugee and IDP families permanently resolved the issue of housing;
  • 9 refugee and IDP families improved the standard of living by starting their own business.

Name of the project: Support to better integration of refugees, IDPs and returnees in Municipality Bojnik
Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to support the integration and improvement of living conditions of refugees, IDPs and returnees in the Municipality of Bojnik.

Main results to be achieved:

  • 7 beneficiary families (approximately 28-30 individuals) provided with durable housing solutions through construction of prefabricated houses on their own plots of land or distribution of building material;
  • 20 project beneficiaries receive training and mentoring in the specific agricultural production and support in business start-up;
  • Capacities of the local structures in the implementation of EU funded actions significantly increased until the end of the action.

Name of the project: Provision of Durable solutions for IDPs, Refugees and Migrants in the Municipality of Kula
Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to support the integration and improvement of living conditions of refugees and IDPs in the Municipality of Kula.

Main results to be achieved:

  • 12 beneficiary families (approximately 50 individuals) finalise the construction of their homes through the receipt of building material and live under proper living conditions;
  • 20 project beneficiaries receive training and mentoring support in business start-up and make a proper use of it;
  • 10 most successful economic beneficiaries receive in-kind support for the start-up of their registered business and create self-employment;
  • 30 project beneficiaries will improve their knowledge in the specific agricultural production;
  • Capacities of the local structures in the implementation of EU funded actions significantly increased until the end of the action.

Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to improve living conditions and increase opportunities for sustainable livelihoods of refugee and IDP families in Ruma Municipality.

Main results to be achieved:

  • Resolved urgent housing issues of the most vulnerable refugee and IDP families (80% of the target group);
  • Increased capacities for sustainable income generating of selected 20% of the target group;
  • Empowered members of the target group for active approach in pursuing durable solutions;
  • Increased awareness of the needs of forced migrants.

Scope of the project: The specific objectives of the Action are to improve living conditions, increase opportunities for income generation, and enhance social inclusion of refugees and internally displaced persons living in Sombor Municipality.

Main results to be achieved:

  • Local coordination mechanism initiated;
  • Established transparent procedures for evaluation and selection of beneficiaries;
  • Building material packages delivered and utilized to improve living conditions;
  • Assistance in grants provided and income generating activities started;
  • Improved psychological status of members of the targeted households;
  • Increased social and community participation of refugees and IDPs;
  • Shared experiences and best practices;
  • Produced media broadcasts and visibility products.

Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to increase number of refugees and internally displaced families living in Topola integrated in local community, through provision of housing solutions and economic empowerment

Main results to be achieved:

  • Provided durable housing solutions for at least 8 refugees and IDPs families in Topola through provision of building material packages;
  • Improved income and economic standard of at least 7 refugees and IDPs families in Topola.

Name of the project: Durable housing solutions for IDPs and returnees in the City of Vranje
Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to create conditions and possibilities for integration of IDPs and reintegration of returnees in the City of Vranje trough housing and income generation solutions.

Main results to be achieved:

  • Provided living conditions for returnees under the readmission agreement  with no permanent housing solution  in the City of Vranje;
  • Improved living conditions for IDPs and returnees under the readmission agreement with initial construction or unfinished housing solutions in the City of Vranje;
  • Improved economical competences and capacities of  refugees, IDPs and returnees in the City of Vranje trough income generation activities.

Name of the project: Improving living conditions for internally displaced persons and refugees in the Municipality of Vrbas
Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to contribute to implementation of the Local Action Plan for Improvement of Position of Refugees and IDPs in Vrbas Municipality.

Main results to be achieved:

  • Durable housing solution ensured for 16 IDP families;
  • 10 IDP families improved their economic capacities by starting or improving agricultural activities;
  • Enhanced social integration of beneficiaries.
