Return to Kosovo

Sustainable return encouragement and facilitation, planning and implementing an outreach campaign, as well as supporting returnees’ relocation, administrative issues and delivering of assistance kits to returnees, thus supporting the return of 220 IDP families to Kosovo, upon their wish;

Name of the project: Support to sustainable return and reintegration of IDPs to Kosovo
Scope of the project: The specific objectives are: a) to support sustainable return of IDPs to Kosovo and b) to support sustainable reintegration of IDPs and strengthening of their communities in Kosovo.

Main results to be achieved:

  1. Increased awareness on potential to return achieved within the IDP population in Serbia through conducted outreach campaign activities;
  2. At least 110 families realised sustainable return through provided Return Assistance Activities;
  3. Between 7-10 Returnee Communities in Kosovo strengthened their socio-economic stability through provided Returnee Community Business Start-up Support;
  4. Increased coordination on IDP return-related issues through dissemination of best practices, lessons learnt and synergies made available to, and used by other stakeholders;

Name of the project: Enhancing IDPs Return and Reintegration opportunities
Scope of the project: The specific objective of the Action is to facilitate the displaced persons pursuing and achieving a sustainable return to Kosovo as well as enhancing the reintegration process of returnee communities

Main results to be achieved:

  1. Information/outreach campaign implemented providing reliable and updated information to IDPs on the return process and available support;
  2. 110 IDP families facilitated to return to Kosovo by provision of needed return and reintegration assistance
  3. Access to livelihood opportunities enhanced for returnee communities (up to 13)

Stage of implementation: Awareness campaign and identification of potential beneficiaries is ongoing.
